UHF Radio rental

You need radios to talk to your adventure mates, either out hunting, tramping, or just for an event where radios would be faster than a cell phone.

These ICOM 41 PRO are great radios and use the public access UHF- CB or PRS (Public Radio Services) band so you can likely talk to any other radios on the same band, typically the GME, Uniden type brands.

Our radios are 5 watts, the maximum you are allowed in this frequency, given you 2 – 12 km line of sight range, depending on obstacles.

These radios can also use our private UHF Channel, so if you have a small event and would like privacy, we can change the radios over to this frequency instead.

NOTE: This is not an encrypted channel, so it can be scanned if people know what to do.
